Today we had another fun day with Constable Jude. Today she taught us that if we are below 148cm in height, we have to continue using the booster seat. That means we have to be at least 7 years old. If for some reasons parents want to continue using the booster seat then they can.
She also gave us a height measuring chart and she showed us how to use the chart as well. We even learned how to put the car seat belts on.
Then it was the best time of the day where she took us to her police car. She brought some kids size police uniforms. She all had a turn to sit in her police car and wear the uniform. It was fun. She also picked few kids to play the siren in her car. We had lots of fun and constable agreed to come back in few weeks time and talk about all the things she carries around her waist.

Once a week we go for Kiwi Can lesson. Our teachers are Mr Numia and Miss Tuia. Each Kiwi Can lesson teaches us values we need inside and outside of school life. This Terms Topic is:
POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS and the theme is POSITIVE COMMUNICATION.
We had good amount of discussions and played a game called Do This and Do That where we only had to copy the teacher when he says Do This and if he says Do That we should not copy him otherwise it would mean that we are out.
Our class has started swimming with the swimming instructors from Glen Innes Pools. Almost all the children bring in their togs to swim. Some children swim with Jeffery and some with Jess. They always talk about water safety before they do take us in the pool. We always do some simple exercises before getting into our swimming lessons. Sometimes we also end up playing some games in the pool as well. Here is a short video to briefly show what we as a class do in the pool.
